After almost five years of hard work, and the countless months of preparation preceding the launch, we at WCOB have come to a point where we can no longer deny the fact that the boxing fraternity has shown little or no interest in our efforts to give boxing something different: a World Cup.

Now we move on. Hopefully others will stand up and continue where we failed and bring some much-needed improvement into boxing, in whichever way.
